It's been a while since my last update!
Now all exams are DONE and DUSTED! And I have the entire summer to absolutely ramp the hell out of this weight loss and fitness journey and come out on top.
Due to revision and being stuck inside doing so, I haven't lost any weight in weeks. Infact, I've gained a good amount - around 6lbs!! This has set my goals back a lot, but I'm hoping a lot of that weight will be water retention from the extra food I've been eating. With a bit of luck, in 2 weeks time I'll be back in the loss-zone :)
I'm intending on shaking things up a bit. I'm bringing my calories per day back up to 1600, but Instead of just going to the gym 5 days a week I'm also incorporating at least 3-5 walks into my week too. And when I say walks, I mean around 7 miles each. I've been doing that walking route for years and it seems to boost fat loss by a HUGE amount, Especially combined with the gym! So with a bit of luck, determination and have hard effort and getting fully back on track I will be able to smash my goals for my Birthday which is in 7 weeks time!
Currently I weigh 18st 7lbs. I'd like to lose a stone at least in the next 7 weeks, that would ensure that I hit my birthday goal of 17 and a half stone. But I'm fairly sure that If I stick to the plan and put some real serious effort into this I can SMASH that goal by at least half a stone more. All it will take is a lot of effort and and strictness with my diet.
It's difficult to remember when you go through a period of being very very happy that you've still got to do this for yourself, for health and for your own personal sense of achievement.
Time for GYM!
