Rest days!

It's common knowledge it's not a good thing to be going to the gym EVERY day...

We all need rest days, days to recover from pounding the gym, let all the hard work soak in and get ourselves geared up for even more hard work to follow!

My rest days are Tuesdays and Saturdays - so today is a rest day for me!

This doesn't mean I slack off on the diet, but simply that I don't go for a beasting gym session. However, all this addiction to getting fit and healthy has left me in some strange state of mind! I actually don't LIKE this rest day...I want to go out and do something active, but I know that I can't go doing any running or get my weights out and do some strength training - I have to rest! But it's boring...I just don't like it!

Considering going for a walk at some point though, that's rather calm and will burn off some calories at least. We'll see. Really I should rest but it's just like I'm itching to get back into the gym tomorrow!

  1. Just discovered this blog, lying here with a hangovver feeling guilty about all the calories i consumed last night and how i didnt go the gym today or yesterday...this blog has made me get up off my arse and go for a big walk! Thanks for the inspiration!
